Linda Baron,

founder + creative director

Linda Baron has been practicing residential design for over 13 years. Prior to founding her business, Linda was a photojournalist for The New York Times, among others. Clients praise her signature curiosity and immersive attention to detail. Linda draws on her extensive reportorial background to create a compelling and cohesive narrative for each project. She is uniquely positioned to create spaces that are at once personal and authentic to each client, and yet lovely, universally inviting, even camera-ready. She combines the eye of an artist with the backbone of deadline-driven discipline. Based in majestic Marin County, Linda balances her work with trail runs, Tahoe ski trips, farmer’s market forays, and volunteering at the food bank. And always carries her passport (a habit from her journalism days). International travel feeds her relentless curiousity, and fuels her creative inspiration. But so do her favorite travel companions, Olivia and Kate, her two daughters. Of sailing, her latest passion, she says, “Life is just better with wind in your face.”

Laurie S

An accomplished custom seamstress with her own workroom in Marin for the past 20 years, Laurie and her dedicated staff stop at nothing to whip up magic on our crazy tight deadlines, installing custom draperies, fluffing pillows and steaming bed linens so they are crisp and camera ready, and always going the extra mile for us. We are grateful to collaborate with her to bring our unconventional ideas to life.
